首届长城文化和旅游融合发展大会对话世界遗产主题交流会| 杰米·马亚基：联合国旅游组织对世界遗产可持续发展政策解读

2025年4月24日至26日，首届长城文化和旅游融合发展大会在河北省迁安市成功举办。本次大会由中国旅游协会主办，中国旅游协会长城分会、迁安市旅游协会携手承办。25日下午，对话世界遗产主题交流会顺利召开。联合国旅游组织国际发展与合作部主任杰米·马亚基围绕“联合国旅游组织对世界遗产可持续发展政策解读”发表了主题发言。

From April 24 to 26, 2025, the first Great Wall Culture and Tourism Integration Development Conference was successfully held in Qian'an City, Hebei Province.   The conference was hosted by the China Tourism Association and coorganized by the Great Wall Branch of the China Tourism Association and the Qian'an Tourism   Association. On the afternoon of the 25th, a themed exchange meeting on dialoguing with world heritage was successfully convened. Jaime I. Mayaki, Director of   the Department of International Development and Cooperation of the UN Tourism, delivered a keynote speech on "UN Tourism's Interpretation of Sustainable Development Policies for World Heritage Sites."

杰米·马亚基主任表示，联合国旅游组织积极推动全球旅游业可持续发展，尤其在世界遗产保护与旅游融合领域成效显著，秘书长祖拉布・波洛利卡什维利多次强调培育可持续旅游模式、释放经济潜力的共同愿景，并高度肯定中国作为全球旅游业领军者的崛起。他指出，中国拥有 59 项世界遗产（其中包含长城、故宫、莫高窟等 40 项文化遗产），长城作为人类共有的文化瑰宝，中国政府在其保护实践中通过持续资源投入、完善立法体系、强化技术应用（如实时远程监测、高精度三维建模等）等多维举措，构建立体化保护屏障，河北省则通过举办论坛等活动提升公众保护意识，让古老遗产焕发新生。此外，中国与联合国旅游组织在世界遗产保护与发展中保持紧密协作，在政策制定、人才培养、市场推广等方面深化合作，包括共研趋势、搭建国际培训与交流平台、支持全球推广并在国际展会设“中国旅游展馆”。

Director Jaime I. Mayaki stated that the UN Tourism actively promotes the sustainable development of global tourism, particularly achieving remarkable results in the protection of world heritage and its integration with tourism. Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili has repeatedly emphasized the shared vision of   cultivating sustainable tourism models and unleashing economic potential, while highly recognizing China's rise as a leader in global tourism. He noted that China is home to 59 world heritage sites, including 40 cultural heritage sites such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Mogao Grottoes. As a cultural treasure shared by all humanity, the Great Wall has been protected by the Chinese government through multidimensional measures, including continuous resource investment,   improvement of the legislative system, and strengthening of technological applications (such as real time remote monitoring and high precision 3D modeling), to build a three dimensional protection barrier. Hebei Province has also revitalized the ancient heritage by hosting forums and other activities to enhance public awareness of conservation. In addition, China and UNWTO have maintained close collaboration in the protection and development of world heritage, deepening cooperation in policy formulation, talent cultivation, and market promotion including jointly researching trends, establishing international training and exchange platforms, supporting global promotion efforts, and setting up "China Tourism Pavilions" at international exhibitions.

Over the years, the UN Tourism has been dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of global tourism, and has made outstanding and indelible contributions, especially in preserving world heritage treasures and organically integrating them with tourism.

联合国旅游组织始终致力于推动全球旅游业的可持续发展，尤其是在世界遗产保护及其与旅游进行有机融合方面，作出了突出的贡献。

Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili highlighted our shared vision for fostering sustainable tourism models and unlocking economic potential, commending China’s emergence as a rising global leader in the tourism industry.

联合国旅游组织秘书长祖拉布·波洛利卡什维利多次强调在培育可持续旅游模式、释放经济潜力方面的共同愿景，并高度赞赏中国正在崛起成为全球旅游业的领军者。

As the common treasure of humankind, World Heritage sites serve as cultural bridges connecting the past, present, and future. China, an ancient and enigmatic land, is home to resplendent cultural gems that radiate unparalleled charm. To date, China boasts 59 World Heritage sites, including 40 cultural legacies such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Mogao Caves.

世界遗产作为人类共同的文明财富，是串联过去、现在与未来的文化桥梁。在中国这片古老而充满传奇的土地上，孕育出了多项璀璨夺目的世界遗产，其散发的独特魅力跨越时空、举世瞩目。截至目前，中国已拥有59项世界遗产，包含长城、故宫、莫高窟等40项文化遗产。

The Great Wall, one of humanity’s greatest military defense projects, stands not only as a symbol of China but also as a shared cultural treasure of mankind.   Stretching over thousands of miles from Shanhaiguan in the east to Jiayuguan in the west, it bears witness to the brilliant history and civilization of ancient China.

长城，人类最伟大的军事防御工程之一，不仅是中华民族的文明象征，更是全人类共有的文化瑰宝。这座东起山海关、西抵嘉峪关的千年巨构，跨越数千公里时空，静静见证着中华文明的辉煌历程与历史纵深。

Notably, the "Maritime Great Wall" in Fujian Province harmoniously integrated with its natural and cultural landscape, forging a distinctive defensive architecture and strategic layout. Every fortress, every brick and stone, is imbued with the imprints of countless cultural legacies.

尤为值得一提的是，福建的"海上长城"，将自然与人文景观进行有机融合，形成了独特的防御建筑体系与战略布局。其中，每一座堡垒、每一方砖石都浸染着无数文化遗产的印记。

Since China’s formal accession to the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, it has upheld a profound reverence   for history and a resolute commitment to the future, vigorously advancing the nomination and preservation of cultural heritage.

中国自加入《保护世界文化和自然遗产公约》以来，始终秉承着对历史文化的深厚敬意与对未来的坚定承诺，大力推进文化遗产的保护与申报工作。

In the context of Great Wall conservation, the Chinese government has not only allocated substantial resources for restoration and regular maintenance, but   also strengthened environmental governance and protection around the Wall through legislative and law-enforcement measures.

在长城保护实践中，中国政府不仅持续投入大量资源开展精细化修复与常态化维护，更通过完善立法体系、强化执法效能等多维举措，构建起长城周边生态环境与文化遗存的立体化保护屏障。

Cutting-edge digital technologies-including real-time remote monitoring systems, high-precision three-dimensional modeling, and deep learning algorithms have been progressively integrated into its preservation and research endeavors, setting new benchmarks in heritage stewardship.

尖端数字技术，包括实时远程监测系统、高精度三维建模与深度学习算法等技术，正逐步融入长城的保护与研究工作，为世界遗产管理树立了全新标杆。

Moreover, Hebei Province, a critical region for Great Wall protection, has hosted numerous forums and initiatives to enhance public awareness and   engagement in its preservation, letting the ancient cultural heritage shine in the light of the times.

其中，河北省作为长城保护重点区域，通过多次举办论坛及专项活动、提升公众保护意识与参与度，让这一古老的文化遗产在时代的光芒中焕发光彩。

In the protection and development of world cultural heritage, China has been working closely with UN Tourism and has made solid progress together.

在世界文化遗产的保护与发展过程中，中国始终与联合国旅游组织保持紧密协作，双方携手在实践中取得了系列扎实成果。

At the policy formulation level, UN Tourism with its profound expertise and visionary insights in the field of global tourism, has engaged in rigorous discussions with the Chinese government to dissect emerging trends and challenges in tourism development.

UN Tourism has established a high caliber platform to advance China’s tourism talent development. On one hand, it organizes international training seminars and workshops, inviting world renowned tourism experts to deliver lectures in China, sharing cutting edge tourism philosophies, management expertise, and technical competencies. On the other hand, it facilitates overseas exchange programs for Chinese professionals, enabling them to broaden their global perspectives and enhance their practical capabilities.

In tourism market promotion, UN Tourism has strongly supported China's prominence on the global center stage. Leveraging its formidable influence and   expansive network within the international tourism sector, UN Tourism has proactively supported China in launching high-impact global tourism campaigns.
